Synopsis
Chanakya is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by A. Venkatesh and produced by Vishwas Sundar.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar, Namitha, and Laya, with music composed by Srikanth Deva and cinematography by Madhu Ambat.
Two storylines are presented: Velu, an ordinary man who becomes a saviour with extraordinary strengths after being influenced by negative elements of society; and Ganesh, an auto driver who kidnaps a businessman and implicates himself in a murder to draw maximum publicity and establish himself as "Publicity" Ganesh.
The film was released on 23 September 2005.
