Synopsis
Velaikkaran is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed and written by Mohan Raja.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as Velaikkaran Arivazhagan, a sales executive who begins his career seeking employment to alleviate family hardship. He soon discovers that he works for large corporations involved in food adulteration and becomes determined to fight against it.
Arivazhagan's investigation leads him into direct conflict with the corporations, escalating the story towards a confrontation where his actions aim to bring about change and address the widespread issue of food adulteration. The film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography handled by Ramji.
The supporting cast includes Mahesh Manjrekar, Sathish, Thambi Ramaiah, RJ Balaji, Sneha, Vijay Vasanth, Prakash Raj, and Robo Shankar.
