Synopsis
Tholaipesi is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Paneerselvam and starring Vikramaditya and Priyanka.
The film revolves around Vedachala, alias Veda, who continues to lead a playboy life even after his marriage with Anita. Thanks to his cellphone, Anita discovers his illicit affair with Reema. Life takes a turn for Veda, as he tries to set his house in order.
The cast includes Vikramaditya as Vedachala, Priyanka Nair as Anitha, and Divya as Reema. The film was shot at various locations including Chennai, Coutralam, Ooty, Munnar, and Pondicherry, with the song "Un Manathai" filmed at Kodaikanal.
The soundtrack for the film was composed by debutant Shanthakumar, marking Paneerselvam's directorial debut. The film was released on 24 August 2007.
