Synopsis
Rishi is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Sundar C.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar in a dual role alongside Meena and Sanghavi, with Arun Pandian and Prakash Raj playing supporting roles.
On one of his missions, the protagonist witnesses Minister Devaraj killing Hema, a TV reporter who was about to expose him. Before dying, Hema hands a floppy to Rishi, which becomes a central plot point.
The story gets complicated when Velu, who resembles Rishi, gets into trouble due to their similar appearances.
The film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by U. K. Senthil Kumar, and editing by P. Sai Suresh.
Rishi was released on 16 February 2001.
