Synopsis
Rendu is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Sundar C and produced by Khushbu Sundar.
The film stars Madhavan in dual lead roles, with Reema Sen and Anushka Shetty as the lead actresses. Vadivelu, Santhanam, and Bhagyaraj also appear in supporting roles alongside a large ensemble cast.
Shakti is a young man from a village who decides to try his fortunes elsewhere after feeling stuck in his hometown. He joins his uncle Kirikalan's stall at an exhibition, where he becomes embroiled in a rivalry with an all-girls stand featuring mermaid costumes.
The film was released on 24 November 2006 and features music composed by D. Imman. It marks the debut of Anushka Shetty in Tamil cinema.
