Vidhi Madhi Ultaa

Vidhi Madhi Ultaa is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language fantasy comedy film written and directed by Vijai Balaji.

The film stars Rameez Raja and Janani Iyer, with Daniel Balaji and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.

Production began in January 2016, with the title initially planned as "Ultaa" before being changed to Vidhi Madhi Ulta during mid-2016. The film was shot across Chennai, Puducherry, and Kerala, and completed in late 2016 but delayed for a year before its release.

The movie follows Aadhi, played by Rameez Raja, who works at a mobile phone shop with his father and falls in love with Divya, a college girl. Their lives take a dark turn when they are kidnapped by separate criminal gangs involved in different activities, leading to a series of tragic events.

Aadhi experiences what feels like a horrifying nightmare, only to realize that the violent reality cannot be escaped or dismissed as fiction. The film is a "dark comedy" with music composed by Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy.
