Synopsis
Sethupathi is a 2016 Tamil-language thriller film directed by S. U. Arun Kumar and starring Vijay Sethupathi in the titular role of Inspector Sethupathi.
The plot centers on Inspector Sethupathi, who investigates the murder of his colleague following their death at sea. He approaches the case with intelligence, taking an unorthodox path to uncover the truth amidst its numerous twists and turns.
As he delves deeper, the investigation forces him into a direct confrontation with Vaathiyar, a powerful figure identified as a "big shot". This escalating conflict jeopardizes Sethupathi's professional standing within his department and puts his personal family life at significant risk.
