Isai

Isai is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language musical thriller film written, directed and composed by S. J. Suryah.

The film stars S. J. Suryah alongside Sathyaraj and Sulagna Panigrahi in her film debut.

The movie revolves around the rivalry between Vetriselvan, an established veteran composer, and A. K. Shiva, his assistant and an emerging composer in the film industry.

Principal photography commenced in May 2012 and continued till January 2014, with filming taking place in Chennai and Kodaikanal.

The story follows Vetrichelvan, an invincible film music composer who is displaced from his top position by his erstwhile assistant, Shiva.

Jealousy engulfs him and he plots the downfall of Shiva.
