Synopsis
Enakkul Oruvan is a 2015 Tamil-language psychological drama film directed by Prasad Ramar and produced by C. V. Kumar. It is a remake of the 2013 Kannada film Lucia, directed by Pawan Kumar.
The film stars Siddharth and Deepa Sannidhi, with Santhosh Narayanan composing the music. It is the 25th film of Siddharth.
The movie explores themes typical of psychological thriller cinema, as a man suffering from Insomnia gets introduced to pills that allow him to cultivate and experience lucid dreams. The distinction between reality & dream thins out, causing him to become consumed by his parallel characters in the dream world.
The film was released on 6 March 2015 and tells two stories of the same person, one in colour and the other in black and white, starting with a protagonist in a coma and on life support. A detective from the Mumbai crime branch investigates the incident that caused his current state, while police capture suspects and interrogate them for information.
