Selva

Selva is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by A. Venkatesh.

The film stars Vijay, Swathi, Riva and Raghuvaran, with music composed by Sirpy.

Selva lives in a colony, where he discovers that he is the adopted son of lawyer Varatharajan (Raghuvaran). He becomes embroiled in a plot when a minister's daughter moves into the colony and is kidnapped by Varatharajan's terrorist group. Selva goes to her rescue and ultimately kills his father after discovering his involvement.

Vijay performed a risky jump stunt in the film without using a double, showcasing his daredevil spirit as an action hero.
