Sangili (1982) is an Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by S. D. Gunasekaran.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Inspector-General Sivaraj, Prabhu in his debut as DSP Saravanan Sivaraj, alongside Sumithra, Major Sundarrajan, M. N. Nambiar, and Sripriya.
The plot centers on IGP Sivaraj appointing his son, the capable but widowed DSP Saravanan Sivaraj, to investigate a dangerous anti-national smuggling operation. Following Saravanan's murder at the hands of a key figure named 'Lion' Dayanidhi (a local businessman), Sivaraj seeks assistance from a retired jail superintendent friend.
The film is a remake of the 1976 Hindi film Kalicharan and was released on April 14, 1982.
