Sandhitha Velai is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Ravichandran.
The film stars Karthik in two roles, alongside Roja and Kausalya as female leads.
Aadalarasu, an unemployed graduate living with his parents Gurumoorthy and Sujatha, meets Thilaka, the daughter of his father's friend Sivaraman, while staying with him in Chennai for a job interview. Despite initial dislike from Thilaka, they eventually get married.
Aadalarasu then faces a series of challenges when he is mistakenly identified as another man, Thirunaavukkarasu, who has passed away. Aadalarasu must take on the deceased man's identity to help his family without arousing suspicion from his wife Akalya and others.
The film was released on 14 April 2000 during the Tamil New Year, marking Ravichandran's second directorial venture after Kannedhirey Thondrinal (1998).
