Synopsis
Padikkadavan is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Suraj.
The film stars Dhanush and Tamannaah Bhatia alongside an ensemble supporting cast including Vivek, Atul Kulkarni, Suman, and Sayaji Shinde.
Mani Sharma composed the music for the movie, while A. Venkatesh handled cinematography and Manoj edited the film.
The story follows Radhakrishnan aka Rocky, a 25-year-old drop-out who is looked down upon by his father due to his educational background.
Filming began on April 5th, 2008, and the movie was released on January 14th, 2009, during the Pongal festival, receiving a huge positive response and grossing ₹15 crore in Tamil Nadu.
