Navarathinam is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language road film directed by A. P. Nagarajan and starring M. G. Ramachandran, Latha, Jayachitra, and Zarina Wahab.
The film follows the story of Thangam, a gold-hearted person who leaves his house in search of a future. He meets nine different women from various statuses in life, each falling in love with him and helping him on his journey. Along the way, he reforms a prostitute, shows a hipster the value of culture, and eventually marries Manikkam.
The film was released on March 5, 1977, and marks A. P. Nagarajan's final film. It failed commercially at the box office.
