
Minor Mappillai is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by V. C. Guhanathan.
The film stars Ajith Kumar, Ranjith, newcomer Rajkumar, Subhashri, and Keerthana in lead roles; Srividya, Vadivelu, and Vivek appear in supporting roles.
The story revolves around Ramu (Ajith Kumar) and Moses (Ranjith), two orphans who are small-time crooks, as they clash with drug smuggler "Challenge" Sankaralingam (Ajay Rathnam).
Meanwhile, college students Dilip (Rajkumar) and Rekha (Subhashri) fall in love, while their families, including wealthy industrialist Govindaswamy (Vadivelu) and arrogant woman Rajalakshmi (Srividya), compete with each other.
The film was released on 28 June 1996 and is a remake of the director's own Telugu film Paruvu Prathishta (1993).
