Maha Nadigan is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language political satire film written and directed by Sakthi Chidambaram.
The film stars Sathyaraj as Sathya, a junior artiste who becomes a superstar after landing a role in a movie. He is approached by corrupt politician Arivanandham (P. Vasu) to contest in the assembly elections, and Sathya accepts, becoming the Chief Minister candidate.
After winning the assembly elections, Sathya jails all the ministers including Arivanandham and orders many raids into their houses. The story then moves to a flashback where Muthu (Manoj), a diehard fan of Sathya, loses his right hand in a clash between two actors' fans.
The film explores themes of ambition, power, and the consequences of corruption through the character of Sathya, who rises from being a junior artiste to becoming the Chief Minister of the state.
