Synopsis
Kovil is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Hari.
The film stars Silambarasan and Sonia Agarwal, with Vadivelu, Rajkiran, Charle, and Nassar in supporting roles.
The movie follows the story of Sakthivel, Periyasamy's son, who studies in a college in Nagercoil, and Angel, Michael Soosai's daughter, who also attends the same college. They fall in love, but their families' generations-old enmity creates tension.
The film was produced by A. M. Rathnam and features music composed by Harris Jayaraj, editing done by V. T. Vijayan, cinematography by Priyan, and a release date of 10 January 2004.
