Synopsis
Kan Thiranthathu is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. V. Srinivasan.
The film stars Ramanathan and Mynavathi, and was released on October 31, 1959.
The plot revolves around Pankajam and her son Boopathy moving into the home of a Zamindar, eventually forcing him out and taking control of his estate. The story follows the consequences of this event, including the Zamindar's wife Nagammal and son Chandran being chased away.
A key element in the plot is Manickam receiving a will from the deceased Zamindar, which he gives to Boopathy as a loyal servant. However, Manickam soon falls ill after giving Boopathy a forged copy of the will.
The story continues with Valli, daughter of Manickam, providing money for medicine that Muthu, a motherless boy, misuses. The climax involves Boopathy trying to molest Valli, leading to their conflict.
