Synopsis
Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Gokul and produced by Leo Visions.
The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Ashwin, Swathi Reddy, Nanditha, and Pasupathi in key roles. The story revolves around Kumaravel (Vijay Sethupathi), a lower middle class youth who stalks Kumudha (Nanditha), the girl living opposite his flat.
Kumudha's father seeks help from Annachi (Pasupathi) to find a solution and teach Kumaravel a lesson. On a parallel track, another alcoholic named Balakrishnan (Ashwin) is a smart bank salesperson under pressure from his boss Poochandi and possessive girlfriend Renu.
The film was released on 2 October 2013 and became a success. It was later remade in Kannada as Jackson (2015).
