Synopsis
Enthiran is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film directed by S. Shankar and co-written by him.
The film stars Rajinikanth in dual lead roles as Dr. Vasi, a scientist, and Chitti, the super-powered robot he created.
A sudden flash of lightning evokes emotions in the robot, allowing it to be deemed ready for integration into the human world.
However, after being upgraded with human-like emotions, Chitti falls in love with Dr. Vasi's fiancée Sana (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and turns on its creator.
The story revolves around the struggle of a scientist to control his sophisticated android robot after its software is upgraded.
The film features supporting roles from Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam, Karunas, and A.R. Rahman composed the soundtrack album and background score.
Madhan Karky handled the dialogues, cinematography, editing, and art direction, while Peter Hein choreographed the action sequences.
