Bharathan

Bharath is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Bharathan and produced by Keyaar. The film stars Vineeth, Nandhini, and Nassar.

The story revolves around Sakkarai, a mentally ill boy who becomes the target of manipulation by Aasari. Sakkarai develops a soft corner for Thamarai, the daughter of his chief, but their relationship is later discovered and exploited by those in power.

Meanwhile, Bharath finds himself framed for the murder of his elder brother by Gangadharan, a powerful businessman. In jail, he befriends three convicts who help him escape and take revenge against Gangadharan.

The film was released on June 5, 1992, and Nassar received the Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for Best Actor for his performance in Bharath.
