Alai

Alai is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Vikram Kumar.

The film stars Silambarasan and Trisha, with supporting roles played by Raghuvaran, Saranya, and Vivek.

The story follows Aathi and Meera, college students who fall in love after a chance encounter. They help their friend marry his true love instead of the arranged bride, leading to conflicts that ultimately bring them together.

Produced by G. V. Prasad, the film features music composed by Vidyasagar. It was released on 10 September 2003 and became a box office failure.
