Synopsis
Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Venkata Krishna Roghanth in his directorial debut.
The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Megha Akash in the lead roles, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Magizh Thirumeni, Vivek, Ragu Aditya, Mathura, Kaniha, Riythvika, Mohan Raja, Karu Palaniappan, Chinni Jayanth, Vidya Pradeep, and Imman Annachi.
The story revolves around Punithan (Vijay Sethupathi), a mysterious character with an enigmatic charm. He arrives at Father Xavier’s church in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, where he is initially mistaken for a musician from the United Kingdom. As the story unfolds, questions about Punithan's identity, origins, destination, and purpose are raised.
The film was released on May 19, 2023, and its title is taken from one of the Purananuru's landscape poems, Pothuviyal 192, "Periyor Siriyor!".
