Synopsis
Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language screwball comedy film written and directed by S. Ezhil.

Produced by Vishnu Vishal for Vishnu Vishal Studios, Ezhil and Rajan Natraj for Ezhilmaaran Production alone with Fox Star Studios, the movie follows Murugan as he tries to save his boss' reputation after a mass-marriage function turns chaotic. With seven grooms and a bride safely returned, Murugan must now find a way to save his boss' reputation by pretending to marry Pushpa, a local dancer.
The film's plot revolves around Murugan as the right-hand man of MLA Jacket Janakiraman, who falls in love with an aspiring cop, Archana. The minister on his deathbed confides with Jacket about stashed billions of cash, but an irked relative leads him into an accident that wipes out his memory.
