Synopsis
Vaigai Express is a 2017 Tamil-language thriller film directed by Shaji Kailas and produced by R. K.
The plot revolves around three young women, Yamini, Tulasi Mani, and Radhika, who are discovered dead during a train journey on the Vaigai Express route. An official named Sharafudeen Rahman initiates an investigation into the matter.
While investigating Yamini and Tulasi Mani's deaths, RACT identifies their killers relatively quickly. However, Radhika's murder presents a more complex puzzle for them. The narrative then focuses on how this enigmatic figure navigates through clues to ultimately uncover the identity of Radhika's assassin.
The film stars R. K., Neetu Chandra, and Ineya in supporting roles. It serves as a remake of the 2014 Malayalam-language thriller Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri. Vaigai Express was released on March 24, 2017.
