Synopsis
Thirudan Police is a 2014 Indian Tamil language action comedy film directed by debutant Caarthick Raju.
The film stars Dinesh and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead, with Bala Saravanan, Nithin Sathya, John Vijay, and Rajendran playing supporting roles.
Viswa (Dinesh), a son who lives in a police colony, takes over his father's job as a constable after his death in line of duty. He sets out on a path of revenge against those responsible for his father's murder.
The film was produced by S. P. B. Charan in collaboration with J. Selvakumar of Kenanya films, and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Thirudan Police was launched in December 2013 and released on November 14, 2014. The film was also remade in Telugu as Sapthagiri Express and in Kannada as Kiladi Police.
