Synopsis
Then Chennai is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written, produced, and directed by Ranga. The film stars Ranga alongside Riya Murugan, Nitin Mehta, Elango Kumanan, and Vatsan M Natarajan.
The movie follows Jason, a former Navy officer turned restaurant owner, who finds himself caught in a standoff between security forces and a gang. As the situation spirals into chaos, Jason is forced to fight to protect his loved ones.
The film explores the lengths one man will go to safeguard those he cares about amidst a life consumed by turmoil and uncertainty.
Music for the film is composed by Jen Martin, with cinematography handled by Sarathkumar Mohan and editing by Elangghovan C M. The movie was released in theatres on 13 December 2024.
