Synopsis
Remo is an Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film released in 2016 and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in his directorial debut.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as an aspiring actor who decides to test his skills by dressing up as a female nurse, aiming also to impress Keerthy Suresh, whose character is that of a doctor.
The movie features supporting roles played by notable actors such as Sathish, K. S. Ravikumar, and Saranya Ponvannan, among others. The cast also includes Aadukalam Naren, Rajendran, Anson Paul, and Sri Divya.
Technically, the film boasts a strong team with P. C. Sreeram handling cinematography and Ruben managing editing. Resul Pookutty served as the sound designer, while Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack, which received positive feedback upon its release.
The film was produced under 24AM Studios by R. D. Raja, who previously worked with Sivakarthikeyan in his films Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Maan Karate, and Kaaki Sattai.
Remo began production during October 2015 and released on 7th October, 2016.
