Synopsis
Rajinimurugan is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Ponram.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the titular role, alongside Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Rajkiran, P. Samuthirakani, and Achyuth Kumar.
Produced by N. Lingusamy and N. Subash Chandra Bose under Thirrupathi Brothers, the film tells the story of a jobless youth who decides to sell his grandfather's property in order to become rich.
The soundtrack was composed by D. Imman, with lyrics written by Yugabharathi. Cinematography was handled by Balasubramaniem, and editing was done by Vivek Harshan.
Principal photography began on 25 August 2014 and completed in March 2015. The film released on 14 January 2016 during the Pongal festival.
