Marumugam is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller directed by Kamal and starring Daniel Balaji, Preethi Das, and Anoop Kumar.
The film follows Mayazhagan, a clay sculptor who kills women who are attracted to him, using their bodies as models for his sculptures. He falls in love with Radhika, but when he learns of her love affair with Ram, he decides to kill her. The rest of the story revolves around whether or not Radhika escapes and reunites with Ram.
The film was produced by Subramaniam's Sanjay and began production in early 2012. It marks Kamal's directorial debut, following his previous work on the Malaysian Tamil film 12 Hours. The songs were scored by guitarist Agastya, who worked on several Telugu-language films.
