Maari 2

Maari 2 is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Balaji Mohan and written by him as well. The film stars Dhanush as Maariyappan "Maari" and features a supporting cast including Sai Pallavi, Krishna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas, Vidya Pradeep, Robo Shankar, Kalloori Vinoth, Kaali Venkat, Master Raghavan, and others.

The film's music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography was handled by Om Prakash, and editing by Prasanna GK. The movie follows Maari as he faces off against Beeja, a hardened criminal who considers himself to be the "God of Death".

Maari 2 is a sequel to Balaji Mohan's 2015 film Maari, and was released on December 21, 2018. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
