Kooran

Kooran is a 2025 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Nithin Vemupati and co-written with S. A. Chandrasekhar.

The movie stars Nithin Vemupati, Y. G. Mahendran, Balaji Sakthivel in the lead roles, alongside Sathyan, George Maryan, Saravana Subbiah, Indraja Shankar, Madhan Dakshanamoorthy, Kavitha Barathi and others in supporting roles.

The film follows a stray dog's quest for justice after its puppy is killed in a hit-and-run accident. Dharmaraj, a retired lawyer, takes on the case to seek justice for the dog, facing challenges along the way.

Kooran was released in theatres on 28 February 2025.
