Kodiyil Oruvan

Kodiyil Oruvan is a 2021 Tamil-language political action drama film directed by Ananda Krishnan and produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Chendur Film International.

The film stars Vijay Antony and Aathmika, with Vijay Antony also editing the movie. The music is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna.

The story follows Arulmozhi, a common man who opposes an influential guy in his area, leading him to develop himself stronger to fight back against his enemies.

Arulmozhi's honest and law-abiding principles enrage the corrupt politician Sukumar, who organises a group of hitmen to burn her. The group murders Arulmozhi's husband, pours petrol over the pregnant Arulmozhi, and lights her on fire. However, she falls into the river, severely burned and giving birth to a baby boy, who saves her life.

The film was released on 17 September 2021 and received mixed-to-positive reviews, becoming a commercial success.
