Synopsis
Kallappadam is a 2015 Tamil-language independent heist thriller film written and directed by J. Vadivel for his production company Iraivan Films.
The film tells the story of how first-timers try to make a film, based on the native folk art Koothu. The team's plan to fund their film is to execute a heist, with the lead roles played by J. Vadivel, Sriirama Santhosh, Gaugin, and K, who are also portrayed as fictionalized versions of themselves.
The cast includes Jishnu Raghavan, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Senthil, Singampuli, Chef Damodharan, Aadukalam Naren, and Kavitha Bharathy. The film was released on 20 March 2015 and marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam actor Jishnu Raghavan.
