Synopsis
Kadaisi Vivasayi is a 2022 Tamil drama film directed and produced by M. Manikandan.
The film stars Nallandi as an octogenarian farmer, Mayandi, who lives in a village near Usilampatti. He is tasked with providing the symbolic first grain for the village temple's annual ceremony due to the absence of other farmers in the village.
Mayandi plants a new batch of paddy and displays little emotion, leading to an engaging and immersive experience for Tamil audiences. The film features Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
M. Manikandan not only directed and produced the film but also took on the role of cinematographer, showcasing his multifaceted talents.
