Synopsis
Indian 2 is a 2024 vigilante-action film directed by S. Shankar and serving as the second installment in his Indian trilogy.
The film follows Senapathy, an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante played by Kamal Haasan, who returns to India years after the events of the first movie to aid a young man named Chitra Aravindhan and his team. Chitra has been exposing corrupt politicians through videos uploaded on the internet.
Senapathy joins forces with Chitra's associates to fight against corruption in the country. The ensemble cast includes Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek, S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Gulshan Grover.
The film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, with a script co-written by B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar.
