Synopsis
Gurkha is an action comedy film released in 2019, produced by 4 Monkeys Studio.
The movie stars Yogi Babu as Bahadur Babu, a mall security guard from the Gurkha community. During his shift, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn into saving several people held hostage during an attack orchestrated by terrorists within the shopping complex.
Elyssa Erhardt, Anandaraj, Charle, Raj Bharath, and Manobala feature in supporting roles alongside Yogi Babu. The technical execution of the film is handled by established crew members: cinematographer Krishnan Vasant captures the visuals, while editor Ruben manages the pacing.
The soundtrack features music composed by Raj Aryan. Principal photography for this project began in late 2018, leading to the film's release on July 12th, 2019.
The narrative focuses primarily on the events transpiring during the siege and how Yogi Babu's character resolves it.
