Synopsis
Vithagan is a 2011 Tamil-language action film directed by R. Parthiban and starring himself alongside Poorna.
The film follows Rowdran (R. Parthiban), an upright cop who takes law into his own hands to fight against corrupt police officials and goondas, after being put behind bars he seeks revenge against Badri (Milind Soman) for a past tragedy that destroyed his family.
Released on November 18, 2011, Vithagan marks R. Parthiban's 50th film and explores themes of justice, corruption, and personal vendetta.
The film was in production since 2008 and features R. Parthiban playing a police officer who is both brainy and brawny.
