Synopsis
Vinmeengal is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Vignesh Menon in his debut.
The film stars Rahul Ravindran, Vishva, Shikha, Anuja Iyer, and Pandiarajan, and is based on a real-life incident revolving around the life of a physically-challenged protagonist.
The music was composed by Jubin, with lyrics by Na. Muthukumar. The film's cinematography was handled by Anand Jeeva, and editing was done by G. Sasikumar.
Vinmeengal had its audio launch held on 16 February 2012, and was released on 16 March 2012.
The Times of India praised the film's debut effort, saying it showcases potential within Vignesh Menon as a filmmaker and features a fresh cast. However, the review concludes that the director "criminally ignores" certain aspects of the story in the film's second half.
