Synopsis
Vilai is a 2010 Tamil language drama film directed by G. Kamaraj.
The film stars Saravanan, Bharani, Udhayathara, and newcomer Ritu Soni, with Fathima, Charmila, Shathiga, Krishnamoorthy, Gemini Balaji, Rajasanthuru, and Devaraj playing supporting roles.
Produced by M. Sathia and S. Babu, the film features a musical score by D. Imman.
The story follows jobless Nandhu and his sister Vandana as they navigate their lives in Madurai before being kidnapped by traffickers and taken to Chennai.
As they search for each other, Nandhu and Vandana encounter various characters, including a ruthless female don named Mirchi Maya, who is the leader of the trafficking business.
The film ultimately leads to the rescue of the abducted women, including Vandana, with the help of Deputy Commissioner of Police Shanmugavel.
