Synopsis
Vetri Padigal is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Manobala.
The movie stars Ramki and Nirosha, with Srividya, R. Sarathkumar, V. K. Ramasamy, Jai Ganesh, and Vinu Chakravarthy in supporting roles.
Released on 15 March 1991, the film follows police officer Mahesh (Ramki) as he leads an investigation against a robbery gang terrorizing Tamil Nadu.
Mahesh's personal life becomes entangled with reporter Vimala (Nirosha), who initially forces him for an interview but later develops feelings for his investigative skills.
Meanwhile, Guruji (R. Sarathkumar), a local figure known as gang-buster, becomes concerned when Mahesh starts dating his ex-fiancé.
