Synopsis
Vennira Aadai is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by C.V. Sridhar and starring Jayalalithaa, Nirmala, Shylashri, Srikanth, and Moorthy in their debut.
The film was co-written, produced, and directed by Sridhar and released on April 14, 1965. It tells the story of Chandrasekhar "Chandru," a famous psychiatrist who falls in love with Geetha but is assigned to cure a mentally unstable woman named Sowbagyavathi "Shobha" living in Kodaikanal.
Chandru informs his lover about the assignment and promises to return for her, setting out to Kodaikanal. Upon arrival, he meets Shobha's parents, who are distressed with their daughter's condition, and questions them about her past, but they conceal it initially due to its potential consequences.
