Synopsis
Varnajalam is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Nagulan Ponnusamy in his debut.
The film stars Srikanth, Sadha, and Kutti Radhika, with Nassar, Riyaz Khan, and Karunas playing supporting roles. The music was composed by Vidyasagar, while the editing was done by K. Palanivel and cinematography by B. Balamurugan.
The story revolves around Devanathan IPS, a retired Commissioner of Chennai Police who moves to Ooty with his family, including his brother Shekar, sister-in-law Viji, and their children. His daughter Anitha wants to become an IPS officer like her father, while his older son Ashwin is a brilliant but troubled young engineer.
A man named Daniel arrives six months after the family moves in, bringing a recommendation letter that sets off a chain of events threatening to destroy the family's life.
