Synopsis
Vanthaan Vendraan is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by R. Kannan and starring Jiiva, Nandha, and Taapsee in lead roles.
The music was composed by Thaman S, while the cinematography was handled by P. G. Muthiah and editing by V. T. Vijayan.
The film follows Arjun (Jiiva), who seeks to meet Ramana (Nandha), a powerful don in Mumbai, after his love interest Anjali (Taapsee) puts conditions for their marriage: Ramana must surrender before the police.
However, the story takes a surprising turn when it is revealed that Arjun and Ramana are siblings, with Ramana having a secret agenda behind coming to Mumbai and getting close to the notorious don.
The film was released on September 16, 2011, to mixed reviews.
