Synopsis
Urimai is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Rama Narayanan and starring Suresh and Nalini.
The film follows Suresh, the only child of a wealthy businessman, who is a womanizer and a general wastrel. He falls in love with a poor teacher named Rani, and they get married. However, their happiness is short-lived as they are involved in a car accident that leaves Rani presumed dead.
After the accident, Suresh's life becomes complicated when two women claiming to be Rani show up, claiming to have survived the crash. The film explores Suresh's emotional turmoil and his struggle to come to terms with what happened to Rani.
The film was released on March 15, 1985, and began filming in Ooty, where three fight sequences were shot.
