Synopsis
Un Kannil Neer Vazhinthal is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Balu Mahendra. The film stars Rajinikanth and Madhavi, with Y. G. Mahendran in a prominent role.
The movie follows the story of Ravi, a police officer who falls in love with Padma, but is framed by his colleague Dharmaraj and falsely accused of killing his friend Babu. As Ravi tries to clear his name, he discovers Dharmaraj's true identity and sets out to prove his innocence.
The film was released on June 20, 1985, and had a theatrical run of 75 days. It marked the feature film debut of Mounika and was one of the few films directed by Balu Mahendra to be considered mainstream.
