Thunaivan is a 1969 Indian Tamil devotional film directed by M.A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M.M.A. And Chinnappa Thevar.
The film stars A.V.M. Rajan as Velayudham, an orphan living at the Murugan Temple in Pooncholai under the care of a priest (Senthamarai). It also features Sridevi and Sowcar Janaki in prominent roles, with Major Sundarrajan, Nagesh, Sachu, and K.B. Sundarambal appearing in supporting parts.
The music was scored by K.V. Mahadevan. The film marked Sridevi's first leading film role at the age of five, playing Muruga.
