Synopsis
Thirumangalyam is a 1974 Tamil-language film directed by A. Vincent and starring Jayalalithaa and Muthuraman. The movie was released on January 12, 1974, and marked Jayalalithaa's 100th acting role as an actress.
The film features music composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics penned by Kannadasan. It is a remake of the 1973 Telugu film "Jeevana Tarangalu".
Despite initial reports suggesting audience rejection, Jayalalithaa received recognition for her performance, winning the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
