Thirudan is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar and produced by K. Balaji's Sujatha Cine Arts.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Raju, who transforms from a thief into an honest married man, alongside K. R. Vijaya, K. Balaji, and Vijayalalitha.
The plot revolves around Raju's attempt at retirement after marriage being challenged by his former boss, who seeks to draw him back into criminal life.
Thirudan is a remake of the 1969 Telugu movie "Adrushtavanthulu" and features prominently the home organization of Sivaji Ganesan, Annai Illam.
The music for the soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics penned by Kannadasan.
Upon its release on 10 October 1969, "Thirudan" became a commercial success, running in theatres for over 100 days.
