Thirudadhe is a 1961 Tamil crime drama film directed by P. Neelakantan and produced under A. L. S. Productions with V. Arunachalam assisting the director.
The film stars M. G. Ramachandran as Balu, a small-time thief whose act of stealing money from a woman brings her family's financial burden upon him.
After his mother discovers his secret and makes personal sacrifices for his sake, Balu's perspective on theft changes significantly.
The movie is a remake of the 1956 Hindi picture "Pocket Maar" and was released on March 23, 1961, running for 100 days in theatres.
